I read a book by him in school and now really like him.
Brief info from web Born September 30, 1928, Eliezer Wiesel led a life representative of many Jewish children. Growing up in a small village in Romania, his world revolved around family, religious study, community and God. Yet his family, community and his innocent faith were destroyed upon the deportation of his village in 1944
His novel Night recounts his experiences through the concentration camps and how he survived. Read it if you get a chance, It is only about 100 pages long but good
Anybody read anything by him before or want to discuss him some?

Hm. I've never heard of him before. Sounds a bit like Anne Frank.

A bit of writing on the back of Night saud the novel was as haunting as The diar of Ann Frank so I guess that does make him like her although I haven't gotten to read any of her work yet

I've read Night. It was slightly disturbing, all the things he went through.
