Quizilla is a pretty ok site, but its main market is what it's named for--quiz making. Actually, it's one of my (and many other people's I know) favorite sites for quizzes. But as far as writing goes...lots of people read Quizilla and only Quizilla stories. There's lots of fanfics, lots of Mary-Sues, and lots of story quizzes, which essentially are just stories where one has a selection of responses to each paragraph. The background is gray and the font is black, which I find is a strain to my eyes, but perhaps that's just me. Also, if you use MicrosoftWord, before you write any fiction to post onto this site, you have to convert all the auto-corrections (aka, Smartquotes and elipses) into straightquotes, like what you type on Notepad or forums. Otherwise, they don't show up when you publish it, and you look like you have horrendous punctuation unless the reader is a vetran poster and has experienced the same problem. Remember, presentation is a key thing when attracting readers.
Overall, this site is all right for reading if you like to see lots of cheap fanfiction that usually is romantic and littered with OFCs, with, say, an illogical Draco/fangirl pairing, or something like that. Anyhow, I find that sometimes the twenty episode or more periodical fics very common on Quizilla can get extremely dull and repetative, unless the author is very talented. Also, there's a lot of chain letters posted there, but the admin is introducing new measures to cut down on those, so the problem is decreasing. In addition, there is no waiting time to post after you register *unless this has changed, since it's been a year since I got my account*. Soooo...comments?
