Wizardtales is one of the smaller, yet more expanded archives out there. They have about 500 authors and much more readers. Most of the time, the average time a story will be in queue is six hours, but it depends of course. I once got a fic approved within an hour, which is surprisingly seeing the time difference between the US and my country.
The moderators also take it up to themselves to change smaller errors, like a capitalisation mistake here and there, and they're always friendly. When your fic's got too much of mistakes, the moderators send it to a beta team, who'll help you with the fic. Haven't had experience with the latter though...
Anyway, if you feel like posting your HP fan fic and get enough respond, just go to their site and register. It certainly helped me into the Fortnightly Treasure Chest (= on the indexpage). And I've read some awesome fics on their archive.

When I get time I should check this site out. I got myself an account but haven't uploaded anything yet.

Well, I've just been promoted from a normal author to author/official reviewer. I'll keep an eye out for a fic of yours when it's online
